ABOUT

This is a movement.

OUR VISION

To reimagine Catholic young adult life, discipleship, community, and mission in the 21st Century.

OUR MISSION

Greenhouse exists to GATHER young adults into authentic community and GROW them as faithful disciples of Christ and His Church so that they might GO live their lives for the GOSPEL.

WHAT IS GREENHOUSE?

A greenhouse is an environment dedicated to growth, thriving, and fruit. When you put a plant in a greenhouse, it will thrive because of an environment cultivated specifically for plants.

So too, we as people were made to live in a “greenhouse” - in an environment where faith is cherished and bolstered, and where we can’t help but get closer to Jesus. Catholic young adults will grow, thrive, and live fruitful lives in these places of community.

  • GATHER TOGETHER

  • GROW AS DISCIPLES

  • GO FOR THE GOSPEL

WHERE IS GREENHOUSE?

Greenhouse is first and foremost quite literally a house. We believe in the community and ministry models we see in the early Church. In the book of Acts we witness a budding community of zealous disciples where discipleship, formation, and evangelization flowed from the living room. We want to rediscover that and unlock the ministry genius seen during the time of the Acts of the Apostles.

Greenhouse is also a parish initiative. We believe that the local parish is called to be a hub of discipleship, community, evangelization, and formation. We believe in forming young adults to not only be fed in the parish but to also give the gift of themselves to the parish for that end. We believe we will see parish rejuvenation when we raise up young adults to live consistently on mission at their local parish.

WHO IS GREENHOUSE FOR?

Greenhouse is for Catholic young adults (22-35 years old) who want to take the next step in radically following Jesus. Greenhouse is for Catholic men and women who desire to live life with Christ above and beyond the four walls of the parish. Greenhouse is for the generation at hand to live like the Kingdom of God is at hand.

". . . PRAISING GOD AND HAVING THE GOODWILL OF ALL

THE PEOPLE. AND DAY BY DAY THE LORD ADDED TO THEIR

NUMBER THOSE WHO WERE BEING SAVED."
